Ducks & Other Waterfowl Editorial Review
"The Story about Ping" is a classic children's book about a duck named Ping who enjoys his life on the Yangtze River but gets into trouble when he decides to go off on his own. The book has a great lesson about appreciating what you have and being tolerant of your family's flaws. The story is repetitive at times, but it does an excellent job of teaching children about behavior and Consequences. Customer Experience and Reception: - A mom YouTuber recommended the book, but some customers found it sad and pointless. - However, many other customers found the story adorable, simple, and with a very good theme. - One buyer got the book as a gift for her 4-year-old grandson, and it was easy to have a discussion about behavior and Consequences after reading. - Another customer remembers reading the book with her grandson after visiting the library, and he loved it so much that she got him his own copy. - The story has a happy ending, and it is not based in China. - One reader bought this book for themselves and enjoyed revisiting the story and sharing it with friends.
