Occult & Supernatural Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of GURPS Magic** GURPS Magic is hailed by customers as an essential addition to any GURPS collection, effectively fulfilling its purpose with a remarkable blend of clarity and creativity. Fans appreciate the variety of spell design rules and the new, flexible systems for freeform magic, noting that it not only expands the existing GURPS magic system but also enhances the overall experience of gameplay. Reviewers emphasize the book's exceptional organization and user-friendly indexing, making it straightforward to locate relevant details—a feature that sets it apart from many RPG supplements. Even beyond those involved with GURPS, the book's wealth of contextual information proves invaluable for crafting engaging settings, as users have adapted its insights for various systems like Savage Worlds. This versatility contributes significantly to its five-star ratings from users who find it overly resourceful for their campaigns. Furthermore, the distinct color page edges, which help identify chapters quickly, are a welcome design feature, even if some reviews lament the absence of a clearer indication that the book comes in black and white, as opposed to color. While its application may vary depending on individual campaigns, the comprehensive nature of GURPS Magic, combined with Steve Jackson Games' commitment to quality, earns it praise as possibly the best splat book for GURPS 4th edition. **
