Furman Line Conditioners Editorial Review
The Furman IT-Reference 20i 12-Outlet Discrete Symmetrical AC Power Source has garnered a notable reputation among audiophiles and those deeply invested in high-end audio setups. Users report a significant enhancement in sound quality, with many emphasizing the tighter bass response and improved overall dynamics of their audio systems. Long-time audio enthusiasts have invested years searching for the best sound and often view the IT-Reference 20i as a culminating piece that can dramatically elevate their listening experience. One of the standout features mentioned is the noticeable reduction in noise levels, allowing details in music to stand out more prominently, even in complex recordings where multiple instruments intertwine. This aspect is praised for transforming the listening experience, making it feel less like 'hi-fi' and more true-to-life, enhancing the overall musicality of the system without any compromises in dynamics or clarity. However, some users have highlighted an issue regarding the power management capabilities of the unit. The inability to sequentially power on high-output amplifiers has led to circuit breaker trips, which can be frustrating for those with powerful setups. Despite this drawback, the overwhelming Consensus is that the sonic improvements brought about by the IT-Reference 20i far outweigh the challenges, with many deeming it a worthy investment for serious audiophiles looking to achieve the best sound quality possible. In summary, the Furman IT-Reference 20i is regarded as a game-changer for those serious about audio performance, marrying impressive build quality with transformative sound enhancements. For anyone looking to maximize the potential of their audio system, this product is a powerful contender. **
