Drama Editorial Review

"Shampoo" is a satirical comedy-drama directed by Hal Ashby and produced by Warren Beatty. It is an exceptional commentary on the excesses of American celebrity and Consumerism that are disguised as a charming story. The film has been restored and preserved immaculately by Criterion Collection. It's packed with great performances from Julie Christie and Goldie Hawn and has a great combination of drama and wit. Though a bit dated, it still holds a lot of fun and worth watching.
