M-Wave Cable Locks 230170 Editorial Review
The M-Wave 8.15 Spiral Cable Combination Lock has garnered a mixed reception among customers, with many praising its practical features while also highlighting some concerns regarding durability. This lock is characterized by its strong locking mechanism and the convenience of a resettable combination, making it user-friendly, even for children. Several customers appreciate the lock's flexibility, allowing it to encompass both a bike's frame and front wheel, though they note it could benefit from slightly more length to enhance usability. However, customers warn that while the lock serves well for brief stops—such as running into a store or for short gym visits—it is not meant for long-term security. Users have reported that, like many bike locks, it is susceptible to theft if left unattended for extended periods, especially Considering that the lock is made of wire rather than a solid steel bar. Additionally, issues have arisen concerning the durability of components, such as the plastic mounting bracket, which has been noted to break over time, leading to difficulties in securing the lock. Others have experienced fraying of the cable where it meets the lock covering, raising safety concerns. Overall, the M-Wave 8.15 Spiral Cable Combination Lock is Considered a practical choice for quick, everyday use, especially for those who understand its limitations in providing robust security solutions. **
