Why no warning that this is not compatible with the Kenmore-branded equivalent of the Waterwise 3200, which uses similar lids, spouts, etc.?
Respuesta: The waterwise 3250 is designed to fit the Waterwise 3200 Distiller. It will also fit the 8800 but is approx. 3 MM. taller than the older 8800 carafe but will fit tightly. The older Kenmore sold at Sears 20 years ago should not be any different but user experiences may differ. The top of those distillers may warp over time and make it too tight. We do not design new parts to necessarily fit older other brand distillers and do not have any to see if they fit, so it would be hard to warn about an older distiller that we did not make and have no way of confirming every application.
