Powerbuilt Brake Adjusting Tools 648411 Editorial Review
The brake spring removal tool has mixed reviews. Some customers found it challenging to align the keeper with the shaft during reassembly, while others thought it was very effective at removing spring retainers. Some reviewers felt that the tool was made of soft aluminum and prone to bending with minimal pressure, while others thought it was heavy-duty enough to install and remove springs without bending. Many found the tool to be a great time-saver, while others found it to be chincy and useless. Overall, the tool seems to be hit or miss, and customers should do their research before purchasing.
