It has an adjustable depth of 22 to 40 and can be used for network equipment. The rack has a little sway, but as more devices are added and mounted to rails, it becomes stiff. The only issue with the rack is that the manual has insufficient information for determining the rack depth. Overall, the StarTech.com 42U Open Frame Server Rack is a great purchase that is well-designed and made.
