D'Addario Mandolin Accessories Editorial Review
The D'Addario EJ80 Phosphor Bronze Octave Mandolin Strings have garnered positive feedback from users, highlighting their ease of installation and great sound quality. Many customers appreciate the thoughtful pairing of strings, which simplifies the setup process. Users frequently mention the strings’ performance on various instruments, with notable mentions for both octave mandolins and tenor banjos, reinforcing their versatility. Customer service also receives commendation for its responsiveness and personalized assistance, adding to the overall positive experience of purchasing and using these strings. Additionally, while customers acknowledge the need to apply more finger pressure due to the medium gauge, they note that this concern diminishes with regular practice. However, there are some concerns regarding the longevity of uncoated strings, with calls for a coated variant to improve durability. Despite this, the price point and sound quality continue to make these strings an appealing choice for both amateur and seasoned players alike. The overall sentiment is that the EJ80 strings are a reliable and cost-effective option for musicians seeking quality sound from their instruments. **
