The Strathmore 300 Series Drawing Paper Pad is a versatile artist paper suitable for charcoal, pastel, ink, and marker work. The 70lb (114gsm) paper is smooth and sturdy, preventing any tearing or peeling easily as you draw on it. The top-bound metal spiral contains 25 sheets that are easily detachable from the pad. While the paper pad is excellent for pencil sketches, some users have found it too thin for watercolor or colored pencils. The direction of the grain appears to be east to west in the spiral-bound option. Nevertheless, most users found the product sturdy with a good spine and of excellent quality, worth its value for money.
