Preguntas y respuestas de los clientes
-
Pregunta:
What are 8 x 12 inch OD stainless steel EPDM bonded sealing neoprene rubber washers used for?
Respuesta: These washers are primarily used in sealing applications to prevent leakage between two surfaces. The stainless steel provides corrosion resistance, while the EPDM bonded neoprene rubber offers excellent elasticity and durability. They're ideal for plumbing fixtures, automotive components, or any setting where moisture and temperature variations are a concern. -
Pregunta:
What materials are included in these washers?
Respuesta: The washers are made from high-quality stainless steel and EPDM bonded neoprene rubber. Stainless steel ensures longevity and resistance to rust and corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor and damp environments. Meanwhile, EPDM rubber is known for its impressive heat and weather resistance, making these washers versatile for various applications in construction and automotive sectors. -
Pregunta:
How many washers come in a pack?
Respuesta: Each pack includes 100 pieces of 8 x 12 inch OD washers, making it perfect for larger projects or for stocking up for future use. This quantity is highly efficient for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts, ensuring you have enough washers on hand for repairs, installations, or custom projects without the need to frequently reorder. -
Pregunta:
Are these washers suitable for high-temperature applications?
Respuesta: Yes, these washers are suitable for high-temperature applications, thanks to the properties of the EPDM bonded neoprene rubber. EPDM can withstand a wide range of temperatures without losing its sealing capabilities, making these washers ideal for use in engines or other high-heat environments, as well as in HVAC systems. -
Pregunta:
Can these washers be used in outdoor settings?
Respuesta: Absolutely! The stainless steel construction coupled with the EPDM rubber makes these washers highly resistant to environmental factors like moisture, UV rays, and extreme temperatures. This resilience is ideal for outdoor applications such as garden fittings, gate installations, or plumbing connections exposed to the elements. -
Pregunta:
Do these washers compress well for effective sealing?
Respuesta: Yes, the EPDM bonded neoprene rubber material is designed to compress well under pressure, providing a reliable seal. This property allows them to fill gaps effectively and adhere well to surfaces, making them suitable for dynamic applications where movement may occur, such as in automotive parts. -
Pregunta:
Are these washers recommended for use in food-grade applications?
Respuesta: While the materials are generally safe, it is advisable to confirm their specifications regarding food safety. If you're using these washers in plumbing systems that supply potable water or in any food-related applications, ensure that they comply with relevant standards. They can be used in non-direct contact applications in food processing setups. -
Pregunta:
What is the difference between stainless steel and standard steel washers?
Respuesta: The primary difference is that stainless steel washers are resistant to rust and corrosion, while standard steel washers are more susceptible to environmental factors. This durability makes stainless steel washers ideal for applications that require longevity and reliability in harsh conditions, ensuring performance over time. -
Pregunta:
What are some common applications for these washers?
Respuesta: These washers are commonly used in plumbing, automotive, HVAC applications, and outdoor equipment. They can be found in situations where a tight seal is critical to prevent leaks, such as securing bolts in water pipes, sealing fittings in air conditioning units, or ensuring integrity in engine assemblies. -
Pregunta:
