Rough Rider Pocket Knives & Folding Knives RR597 Editorial Review
### Editorial Review The Rough Ryder Trapper Yellow Synthetic pocket knife has garnered a favorable reception from customers, becoming a standout choice among budget-friendly knives. Many reviewers commend its impressive fit and finish, often comparing it favorably to higher-end brands like Case. The attention to detail is evident, with users noting perfect alignment of the blades, flawless handle scales, and a finish that boasts no visible blemishes or gaps. The hollow ground blades are repeatedly described as exceptionally sharp right out of the box, capable of performing tasks from slicing paper to skinning game with ease. Despite some critique regarding the initial stiffness of the blades when opening, most customers highlight that this contributes to a satisfying snap when the blades are deployed. They appreciate the solid Construction and the overall performance of the knife, often stating that it feels sturdier than many knives at double the price. Reviewers also mention the importance of carrying a pocket knife for daily utility, citing numerous everyday tasks that a good knife can facilitate. Overall, the Rough Ryder Trapper is seen as a highly reliable and versatile tool suitable for both general use and outdoor activities, with an excellent price-to-value ratio that makes it a hard bargain to beat. ### Pros and Cons **
