Crown Automotive Timing Cover Kit Engine

The Crown Automotive Timing Cover Kit Engine has received a range of mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both positive aspects and significant concerns regarding its overall quality and compatibility. On the positive side, many users have praised the kit for its solid casting quality and proper fitment of the timing cover, indicating satisfaction with its mechanical integrity and dimensions. The value for money has also been emphasized; customers noted that the price was competitive compared to dealer prices, making it an appealing option for those seeking affordability without sacrificing quality. However, several customers faced substantial issues that detracted from their overall experience. Complaints primarily focused on the oil pressure relief valve, which some found to be inadequately designed and improperly fitted, leading to malfunction due to insufficient drilling of holes in the housing. Others reported that components such as the oil pump gasket were either too thick or misaligned, resulting in difficulty when assembling the kit. The difficulty in cleaning oil passages and the need for additional finishing work were also common complaints, suggesting that quality control may not be Consistent. Despite a few users successfully installing the kit without major issues, the occurrences of incompatible parts and poor craftsmanship highlight the necessity for potential buyers to be cautious. The mixed reception suggests that while the timing cover itself can perform well, users may face challenges with ancillary components, making this product less reliable for some. **
