Varivas Monofilament Line 24 - 100lb Editorial Review
The Varivas Ocean Record Shock Leader has garnered positive feedback from customers, highlighting its effectiveness for fishing applications. Many users appreciate the variety of sizes available, which cater to different fishing needs. Reviewers specifically noted its compatibility with the FG knot, a popular knot for securing fishing line to leader, suggesting that it is particularly suited for more advanced fishing techniques. Customers have also commended the line's quality, with comments about its strength—especially noted with the 80lbs version, which some users found to be thinner than competing brands while still delivering robust performance. The monofilament is described as easy to work with, being soft and supple, which aids in knot tying and enhances overall usability. A few users mentioned they are yet to fully test its abrasion resistance during tuna fishing trips, indicating high expectations for performance in tougher environments. Overall, the Varivas Ocean Record Shock Leader appears to be a well-regarded option among anglers, combining quality materials with thoughtful design for a user-friendly experience. **
