DVD Editorial Review
Underwater is a horror-thriller film set underwater, featuring Kristen Stewart in a buzz-cut hairdo. The film focuses on a group of people trapped in a deep-sea station, after an earthquake hits, and sea monsters emerge. The film provides suspenseful and thrilling moments, along with a touch of Lovecraftian horror. Though the film could have benefited from a slower tempo, it offers a unique setting and story, with good cinematography, acting and special effects. Overall, the movie is worth a watch, especially for those interested in underwater sci-fi and horror.
