Contemporary Editorial Review
"Silence" is an emotionally charged book that revolves around Oakley, a girl who hasn't spoken a word in 11 years. The story follows her journey as secrets from her past resurface and finally compel her to break her silence. The book is praised for its authentic portrayal of characters and their emotional depth, making it a compelling read. However, some readers express disappointment due to grammatical errors, inConsistencies in the story, and a lack of proper development. Additionally, a few reviewers point out that the focus on the legality of the relationship between the characters feels predatory and out of place. Overall, "Silence" is a well-written book that captivates readers, but it may not be suitable for those seeking faster-paced plots or who are sensitive to certain themes.
