Nutritionist's Take
Adhesive cushions for upper dentures, while not directly related to nutrition, play a significant role in overall health by enhancing the comfort and fit of dental prosthetics, which can influence dietary habits. A secure denture can facilitate easier chewing and swallowing, promoting better nutrient intake, particularly for those with limited dietary options. However, these products may not address underlying gum health or quality of life concerns associated with denture wear. Nutritionists advise caution regarding the product's materials, as long-term exposure to adhesives can sometimes lead to irritation or allergic reactions. Additionally, consumers with dietary restrictions should ensure the ingredients in these cushions are safe for their specific needs. Overall, while they do not offer nutritional benefits directly, they are essential for facilitating a healthy diet for denture users.
Protefix Adhesives Editorial Review
The PROTEFIX Adhesive Cushions for Upper Denture have received mixed reviews from customers. Some have found them to be the best product of its kind, with a good fit and feeling, and no oozing. However, there have been complaints about the taste and texture, with one customer expressing that it tastes like paper and needing to cancel their subscription due to their sensitivity. Another customer found the cushions too gluey after having them in their mouth for a while. There was also a disappointing experience with the adhesive not lasting after eating a rice crispy bar, causing the denture to come unglued. Overall, while some customers have had success with the PROTEFIX Adhesive Cushions, the mixed reviews and negative experiences shared indicate that the product may not be suitable for everyone.
