Comedy Editorial Review
Submarine - BLURAY is a remarkable film directed by Richard Ayoade, brilliantly tracing the coming-of-age journey of Oliver Tate, a character portrayed with immense charm by Craig Roberts. The film balances humor and emotional depth, exploring themes such as adolescent love and parental struggles, all set against the backdrop of a Welsh school. Viewers are treated to visually stunning scenes and a unique narrative style, making it far from typical teen films. The strength of the script, paired with a captivating musical score and strong performances, has led many to regard it as a favorite beyond first impressions. Notably, the film enriches the viewer's experience by including engaging extras on the Blu-ray release, showcasing behind-the-scenes insights into Ayoade's creative process.
