Exercise & Fitness Editorial Review

**** The "Posture, Get It Straight!" DVD by Janice Novak is a well-received guide designed to help users improve their posture through a series of targeted exercises. Users have noted that the program is effective in addressing common issues related to poor posture, such as rounded shoulders and back pain, primarily by strengthening the back muscles. The set contains two disks: Disk 1 offers an in-depth explanation of the exercises, while Disk 2 is more focused on actual workout routines with various segments tailored to different needs, including a warm-up, upper body, abs, lower back, and total body stretches. This structure makes it versatile for users with varying time commitments. Many customers appreciate the included latex-free resistance band that enhances the effectiveness of the exercises, with some noting an improvement in their posture and a reduction in associated pains after regular use. The program is particularly favored for its gentle approach and ease of integration into daily routines, with "anywhere, anytime" exercises that users can perform at work or while commuting. However, some users express disappointment that certain exercises are performed while seated, and there are critiques regarding the pace of the program, noting it feels slow initially. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall Consensus is that the DVD works effectively to reinforce proper posture habits while being enjoyable and user-friendly. In essence, this DVD is a comprehensive fitness tool that not only fosters physical strength and flexibility but also promotes awareness of postural habits. Janice Novak's engaging teaching style enhances the exercise experience, making it a recommended option for those serious about improving their posture and overall well-being. **
