Hardcover History Editorial Review
Caravaggio is a Spanish publication by TASCHEN, released on June 17, 2016, featuring 96 pages of rich illustrations capturing the essence of the celebrated artist's work. Despite mixed reviews, readers appreciate the quality of artwork reproduction, which remains consistent with TASCHEN's high standards. The design offers a large format, enhancing the visual experience of Caravaggio's masterpieces, though some critics noted a lack of in-depth analysis on the artworks and found the narrative somewhat monotonous. Overall, this book serves well as an introduction to Caravaggio's life, despite some readers wishing for more insightful artistic commentary.
