Revisión editorial
Beautiful Darkness is a captivating graphic novel published by Drawn and Quarterly, blending whimsical illustrations with darker themes that evoke a sense of wonder and unease. While the cute character drawings and detailed forest backgrounds entice readers, the story unfolds to reveal a haunting narrative about a community of little people living amidst unsettling events, such as poisonings and disappearances. The book's unique juxtaposition of charm and horror challenges perceptions, making it clear that this is not suitable for children despite its fairy-tale appearance. With 120 pages of colorful illustrations, it invites more mature readers to explore its deeper meanings and unexpected twists.
