Blu-ray Editorial Review
Daybreakers [3D Blu-ray + 2D Version] German Import offers a unique twist on the vampire genre, depicting a world overrun by vampires seeking synthetic blood to cope with a dwindling human population. The film's engaging plot features a strong cast, including Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe, and presents a compelling critique of corporate greed. Despite mixed feedback concerning the 3D effects—a common observation being the lack of standout depth—the movie's cinematography remains high quality. Some viewers found creative solutions for subtitle removal, adding a hint of user experience interplay. The additional short film, The Big Picture, is noted as a worthwhile extra.
